Have a Harc Day

What an incredible turnout we will have for our 13th Annual Have a Harc Day at the Connecticut State Legislative Building!
We will be filled with gratitude as families, staff, individuals, supporters, and legislators come together for a day of advocacy and connection.
Heartfelt testimony will fill the room as we call for the critical funding needed to sustain the programs and services that make a real difference in the lives of individuals with IDD. We will hear powerful voices from our community advocating for the support that nonprofits like Harc so desperately need to continue our vital work.
Together, we will ensure that the voices of the IDD community are heard and respected. Let’s continue to fight for a future where all individuals will have access to the services they deserve.
wALK N' ROLL
TBD Hartford Yard Goats Dunkin' Park
Join us at the Hartford Yard Goats Dunkin' Park for Harc's annual Walk N' Roll event. Come together with the Harc community for a day filled with games, activities, snacks, and more, to celebrate people of all abilities! Registration is free, and there will be fun for all ages and abilities. All proceeds will help Harc purchase a new wheelchair accessible lift van!
When you register, you'll have the opportunity to create a fundraising team or donate to an existing team to further Harc's mission during our annual Walk N' Roll event. By creating a team fundraiser you'll be able to mobilize your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to help the Harc community. Your support of an existing team will help us expand employment and recreational activities for the people we serve, and reach everyone in our community who needs Harc's programs and services.

An Unforgettable Evening: Celebrating the Success of Our First Dueling Pianos Event
We are beyond excited to share that our very first Dueling Pianos event was an incredible success! The night was packed with energy, laughter, and timeless tunes, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who made it possible.
A huge shoutout to the amazing Savage Pianos for absolutely bringing the house down with their dynamic performance! With two electric pianos, fiddle, saxophone, drums, and even a harmonica, they created an atmosphere of pure fun and excitement. There was even a conga line!
We were also thrilled to have the Good News Guy and long-time friend of Harc, Keith McGilvery, as our emcee for the evening. Keith’s energy and passion for our cause shone through as he kept the crowd engaged and provided live footage of the event.
