The Employment Readiness Center (ERC) bridges the gap between people’s skills and talents, and how to build the skills that are needed for a life of quality, inclusion, and dignity. It prepares people for meaningful jobs in their communities. The ERC supports people over the age of 16.
What we offer:
- Task-specific opportunities that improve existing skills or learn new ones. They are accomplished through an evidence-based practice model and tools.
- Vocational Support allows people to take advantage of paid internships while working in a variety of vocations.
- Job Coaching that coordinates resume writing and job development. Coaches also help resolve work-related issues and provide guidance/skill development so participants can be successful in their professional goals.
- Social Activities – The ERC promotes an active lifestyle through a variety of meaningful activities.
