Life Enrichment allows older adults (ages 55 and up) with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that keep them invigorated and engaged.
Life Enrichment is open to people with various needs and levels of ability and specializes in memory care for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and/or dementia.
Participating in Life Enrichment helps promote a sense of purpose and meaning in the lives of people who need this level of support.
Harc fosters a sense of family when you are a part of Life Enrichment and it is a popular place for our visitors and volunteers to spend time. Many of our attendees form strong bonds and friendships with one another. Planned activities and social functions throughout the week support people’s interests and abilities.
Types of Activities:
- ArtSparks – a weekly art program for our artists
- Music therapy & Pet therapy
- Beauty activities
- Volunteer activities
- Wii Wednesdays and games
- Monthly special events and celebrations
