Kimberly A. Dunham
Executive Director of Greater New Haven Transit District
Kimberly Dunham joined Harc’s Board of Directors in 2017 and serves on its Finance and Administrative Services Committee. She is the Executive Director of Greater New Haven Transit District (GNHTD) located in Hamden, CT. GNHTD provides integrated paratransit service to elderly and disabled residents. The agency also serves as a conduit of federal and state funding for transportation related infrastructure projects. Prior to her role as Executive Director, Ms. Dunham served as Deputy Director of GNHTD. From 1994-2014, she was employed as Director of Fiscal and Administrative Services at Greater Hartford Transit District and led the nationally lauded Connecticut Drug and Alcohol Testing Consortium.
She currently serves as a member of United States Senator Chris Murphy’s Transportation Advisory Committee, WTS-CT Chapter Mentor/Advisory Board Member, American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Small Operations Committee Secretary, American Public Transportation Foundation Mentor and participated in the Leadership APTA Class of 2016.
Ms. Dunham serves on the Board of Directors of Harc, Inc., tutors through New Haven Reads and proudly served as a CTfastrak and CTrail ambassador during rollout of both of these innovative new bus and rail services.
