Endow Hartford 21
We are thrilled to announce that Harc is a chosen organization for the Endow Hartford 21 match program. This brand new matching gift endowment campaign is the first community-wide campaign of its type in the region. The inclusion of Harc recognizes the crucial role we play in elevating the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities in the Greater Hartford area. We are honored to be selected.
Because Donors Believe in the Future of Greater Hartford
An endowment creates a long-term resource that helps us sustain our mission during periods of revenue fluctuations. Now is the moment to build on our future. Thanks to the vision and leadership of the Zachs Family Foundation and other matching donors, we have an opportunity like no other to begin that journey today.
Endow Hartford 21 is a new matching gift endowment program, initiated by the Zachs family and supported by other lead donors who believe in the nonprofit community across Greater Hartford.
Make Your Endowment Gift Go Farther with a Match
Your gift will be generously matched. For example, a gift of $1,000 will yield a $500 match. Any gift between $250 to $10,000 will be matched 1:2 by Endow Hartford 21.
How can you participate?
Visit www.EndowHartford21.com for information on how to make your gift by check, credit/debit card, or stock.
Step Up Now, Help Generations to Come
The match is available between June 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 – but its impact will last forever.
Next Steps…
- Fill in the enclosed pledge form if you’re sending a check, or visit endowhartford21.com/organizations/ and choose Harc.
- Checks must be made out to the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving with a Memo indicating your gift is for Harc, and the Endow Hartford 21 program: “EH21 FBO Harc” or “Endow 21 Harc”.
- Only cash is matched, pledges alone will not qualify for the match. If the commitment is paid within the year (by June 2022), then that gift will qualify for the match.
- The payments can be made by check, credit card, or gifts of appreciated stock.
