Harc provides Education, Support and Advocacy to Individuals and their families
so they may enjoy lives of quality, inclusion and dignity.
Why Your Donation Matters
While the state continues to cut funding for programs that Harc provides,
we continue to provide services that our participants so desperately need.
Albert has been a participant at Harc since 1975. He is a Harc employee, and serves on the Board of Directors. Albert is one of our advocates who participants in the self advocacy club and speaks at many of our events.
During an interview Albert explained, “Harc has helped me through challenging times by their support and changed my life for the better.” Back in September of 2000 Albert lost a special family member, his mom. Albert described how Harc supported him through that difficult time, “I had a circle of support. I came through at peace!”
“When I first came to Harc I had some challenges and the Harc staff told me to be patient, not to worry and that I will overcome this. They taught me a little exercise. Turn that frown upside down. I grew from that.”
As an advocate Albert is asking legislatures for support for programs and people so we can keep on growing.
Please join Albert and our other advocates by supporting Harc!
We need YOU, our donors, to help continue to Spark Possibilities
with your generous support today!
