Sheila Murrihy
Senior Director of Steppingstones Birth to Three Program
Sheila leads a wonderful team of dedicated and esteemed clinicians who, along with her, hold in the highest regard the value of serving children and families with the best possible care at the most critical of times in Early Childhood Intervention. As Sr. Program Director, she is responsible for all day to day happenings of the program including meeting all regulatory requirements from the Office of Early Childhood (OEC). Sheila played a key role in the development and launching of the program’s digital transformation. She provides regular program updates to the Programs and Services Committee and is a participant in Strategic Planning and implementation at Harc, Inc. Sheila also participates and supports legislative advocacy for Harc, Inc. and Birth to Three in Connecticut.
Prior to her role as Sr. Program Director, Sheila’s Early Intervention experience includes serving as Assistant Director and Team Lead at Steppingstones. Sheila is a Registered Dietitian and graduate of the University of Saint Joseph (formerly Saint Joseph College) in West Hartford, Connecticut. She attained certification as a Developmental Specialist Provider through UConn UCEDD in the Interdisciplinary Training for Early Intervention Professionals Specialist Program. Sheila brings to her role over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood intervention.
