Leilany Rivera
Senior Director of Day and Employment
Leilany Rivera has been with Harc, Inc. for 22 dedicated years, progressing through various roles that highlight her commitment and expertise. She began her career at Woodland Group Home, working as an RSA for eight years, she was then promoted to Coordinator of the home. While in her role as a Coordinator, Leilany was sponsored to be a part of Leadership Greater Hartford's Quest Program where she worked with a team of professionals developing a marketing and retention plan for Oakhill's first ever disabilities fitness center called Chapter 126.
While in the Quest program Leilany attained another position in Harc's HR department as an Assistant Director where she worked with staff on leadership opportunities, employee onboarding, and other responsibilities assisting the company’s in-house legal counsel.
After 2 years, Leilany returned to the Residential department as a Director of Residential Support and was then promoted to Senior Director, where she was responsible for overseeing Residential, CCH, and IHS Supports. In 2022 Leilany started her position as the Senior Director of Employment Services, and in 2023 she attained the role of Senior Director for both Day and Employment Services.
Throughout her career at Harc, Leilany has demonstrated unwavering dedication to enhancing the lives of those she serves and the effectiveness of the organization's programs.
Spending time with her energetic 3-year-old granddaughter is one of her greatest joys, along with cheering on her son, who's an Army sergeant. Leilany has the travel bug after an amazing trip to Italy two years ago, and now is itching to explore more of the world. She's a foodie at heart, always on the hunt for new restaurants to try. When she is not out and about, you’ll likely find her reorganizing and decorating anything in sight! She is also excited to continue her education in Business Management and take the next step in her career.
