Ernestine joined the Harc board in February 2024. She is Senior Counsel and Administrative Advisor to the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. Ernestine Weaver is a seasoned attorney with over 30 years of legal experience, specializing in higher education law, municipal law, and nonprofit development. Her legal expertise includes contract negotiations, litigation strategy, compliance, and policy development.

Ernestine received her bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and her juris doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She is the former vice president of development and public affairs for CCARC Inc. and has served on its Board of Directors and was past president of the CCARC Foundation board. Ernestine is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and has two adult children and two cats.
